When I was younger I tried calculating this among other bugs using their body lengths per second and applying that to a human (I was and still kind of am a speed nerd), and the result I got was 720mph. Although that was just one specific tiger beetle species that has a speed of 171 BL/s. I’m guessing most other tiger beetles are probably more bullet train or airplane level.

He's so fast that he has to stay for a bit after a sprint (his brain can't comprehend his speed so he has to catch up) Very interesting one, can't wait!
