You just kinda popped up on my TV and your story made me wanna cheer for you…then I ended up getting cancer so here I turn back to your videos for inspiration and magic. Thank you for being there. I’m almost back to where I was after surgery and rads (no chemo just 20 rounds of rads. it was caught at stage 0 and it was DCIS) but as you know if it ain’t one thing it’s a motherfuckin’ other. C’est la vie.

People like her make me feel so weak. I’ve had my share of life altering health diagnosis but never one as serious as cancer and I can’t seem to get off my butt 98% of the time it’s a wake up call each time I read one of these inspiring stories but I can’t get myself to do what I need to do which is exercise

When I was first diagnosed with incurable brain cancer, I thought I’d never be able to work out ever again. Gone were my days of getting stronger, fitter, and pushing my body to its limits - or so I thought.
But even through the long months of treatment, I couldn’t let go of that part of myself. I started small, training at home with 4kg dumbbells, often just managing a few slow, shaky reps. Some days it was all I could do to get moving at all. Still, I kept showing up, refusing to let my diagnosis define what I could or couldn’t do.
Over time, those tiny efforts began to add up. My strength crept back, my confidence grew, and eventually, I took the leap into CrossFit. It was humbling at first, but each session felt like reclaiming a piece of myself. Little by little, I rebuilt not just my body, but my sense of purpose and belief in what I was capable of.
Now, I’m taking on the Battle Cancer challenge, pushing my limits once again to raise money for tge charity Brain Tumour Research!
90 minutes of high energy movements - deadlifts, burpees, skiing, rowing, cycling and more! This time, every rep means something bigger — for everyone still fighting, and for the hope that one day we’ll find a cure. 💪🎗️
