REN (@RenMakesMusic) said it best. This is a perfect articulation of why we we do everything 100% LIVE here among the community:

"I never knew much about music reactions until i started dropping music, but I came to appriciate what its like watching someone have a viceral experience to something - it helps you appreciate so many nuances - but most importantly, it connects you to humans and gives you a shared human experience"

Ren has said that watching reaction videos helps him to learn to love his own music again, after the hundreds of hours he spends writing, producing, recording and mixing and mastering them to death ruins the tracks for him. And for the other side... after his relapse last year he said he got quite existential when stuck in bed again and spent a lot of time contemplating what he wanted his contribution to the world to be. He decided that even more than music, he was really proud of the community he was building and wanted that to be his legacy ✌🏻❤

@BlessingMoon.

Followed you since you were Roscoe the Reluctant Renegade 😂. Ren got you in the end though and I am enjoying your exploration of the Ren rabbit hole. Also enjoying your Chinchilla deep dive. These two artists are not just great artists they are genuinely very nice people too. I am not into K pop but I have seen how happy it makes you

I said something like this in Ren's thread which I think you're referencing: I thought reaction videos were beyond dumb, but the second I watched "Hi Ren," I needed validation for my opinion and started watching them to see what others thought. Now my algorithm is flooded with reaction video suggestions, especially for his music. Now that I think about it, I wonder if it wasn't a comment left on another reactor's comment section. Regardless, it has led to countless views on multiple channels the last couple of years, including yours, which are always great.

It does connect us, i watch reaction channels because I love music, I can be with people who are like minded, have different perspectives, crazy fun, thoughtful as in mental health. I am introvert and don't socialise outside of work through choice. It's perfect for me, thank you for your reactions

Please be safe with your channel with the problems arising from the battle going on with umg. I'd really hate to see your channel disappear from my life. Sometimes it just gets me through a hard day. A reactor called cliff beats has put his hand out asking reactors to contact him to help save channels of reactors. You're one of my favorites. ❤❤❤

Music is such a wonderful thing. It entertains us, connects and gives us new perspectives. In 2021 I became very sick so that I had to retire with 51. Short time before Covid I discovered K pop and love the different styles of many groups. Reaction channels and their hosts are like friends for me. Sometimes I comment but mostly I enjoy the thoughts and views the reactors do have about music. It’s a form of education for me. So Ren came into my life via a reaction channel. Hi Ren blew me away-with every new reaction a bit more. Maybe because I’m not a native English speaker. Im so blessed that I live in the same timeline like him. K-pop is entertaining and easy to listen. I love it. But Ren is so different. He is not easy to listen. He is so smart vulnerable and intelligent. Every song is a lesson. Everyone can relate. I love that he is not greedy. He loves to share his knowledge and his talent with other independent artists like Chinchilla, Chris Webby, his friend Sam Tompkins and Token per working and cheering for them. He deserves everything! Big greetings from Germany, dear Roscoe.
