As I’ve stated here before, my wife had a stroke in 2016. For nearly 10 years I am the point man. All day every day, sometimes into the evening. You learn to stay on top of life because it can turn left without notice.

Taking time for silent reflection. Avoiding the news and social media. Paying off debt while making sure I enjoy life in a way that isn't financially damaging. Not getting sucked in to others misery, being empathetic and considerate to others whilst also maintaining healthy boundaries from others toxicity. Not letting "noise" distort my own personal choices

AMEN!! I let a lot of little stuff become major stuff when I was younger.. now, after learning the hard way, I tackle everything head on and deal with problems there and then on the day they arise.

Been getting into shape lately. Controlling calories consistently. Saw solid drops in weight. No need to be in the gym 5 hours a day, just make small consistent efforts, and watch what you eat.

🍯🇺🇸 I’m back to reading my Bible daily & spending time with the Lord. Every time I start doing bad in my life is when I’m not in the Word reading my Bible. I write it down everyday I read & I can look back on all the times I struggled in life & it’s always when I fall away from the Lord & reading my Bible. Watch channel Answers In Genesis & Ken Ham. I recently ordered a Bible from them & am happy with its most accurate translat

A chipped crown. By taking care of it ASAP I only needed a new crown, not a full blown implant. 💸

My Doctor is helping me lose weight because I needed to. I work it into my daily routine. (1)Only food from the store that says 'fat free' or 'low calorie'. Cut down fast food to once per week. (2)There are 'Office exercises' you can do while sitting in a chair, developed for office workers who don't have time or money for a gym membership. Google it if you want. I have a pair of 5 pound weights I can use at home, literally while I am lying in bed. I have lost over 60 pounds and still going.👍

A Skill Every Man Should Learn Before 40
Men, let’s get practical today.
Because there’s a point in a man’s life where he realizes something important…
That most of the stress he deals with isn’t from big problems. It’s from small problems he let pile up because he was busy surviving.
And there’s one skill that changes everything once you finally learn it: Fixing the small stuff early. Not just with tools. Not just around the house.
I’m talking about fixing the small cracks in every area of your life before they turn into floods.
Because most of the time, life doesn’t blindside you. It whispers warnings.
· A rattle in the car.
· A weird charge in your bank account.
· That tight feeling in your chest you keep ignoring.
· That uncomfortable conversation you keep avoiding.
· Those small habits you swear you’ll fix “next week.”
Here’s the truth most men learn the hard way: Small problems don’t stay small. They grow. They stack. They multiply.
And suddenly you’re overwhelmed, frustrated, and wondering how everything got so heavy.
So here’s your reminder gentleman that the strongest men aren’t the ones who wait until everything collapses. They’re the ones who take five minutes today to prevent five hours of chaos next month.
Ok let me share some areas that I’ve dealt with over the years where fixing small things early saves you enormous pain:
• Your money - checking your accounts weekly saves you from huge surprises.
• Your health - ignoring pain never makes it disappear
• Your relationships - small conversations prevent big explosions
• Your home - little repairs keep big bills away
• Your habits - one small upgrade improves your whole routine
Remember you don’t need to overhaul your life. You just need to handle the little stuff consistently.
Because a man who stays on top of the small things ends up with a calmer mind, a cleaner life, and a lot less stress.
Ok men tell me… what’s ONE small thing you fixed recently that made your life easier?
