Retro Claude

Thank you all so much for your kind comments on my Sew in 20 series! I'm loving reading and replying to them all but I've run out of spoons for the day and so will have to get back to you lovely folks in the morning.

See you soon! And thanks to Woody for taking this cheesy picture of me :)

Years ago, Nancy Zeiman was inspired to write a book about 10-20-30 minutes to Sew (or something like that) to help all the people with crazy lives get a project done by working in small bites at a time. I am having to navigate this as well. Your reminders are helpful to me. Same pull to over do it and not pace well… and that same thought process! “But this will only take a minute…!” You are not alone!

The idea of this series is so lovely. Something I need to remind myself of often as well: Any progress, no matter how tiny, is progress and better than nothing. 🥰

Sewing/ crafting in 20 min intervals is a wonderful idea. I have so many half finished projects that I don’t know where to start. Your series is inspiring me to start working on my WIPs again in short bursts. 🤞🏻I can get some of them done before summer is out. ❤️

@beth12svist

I applied that to my knitting today, with The Welsh Viking's new podcast being a neat half-hour to dedicate to a couple new rows on a sock! 😊

This series, like your others, is not only enjoyable and inspiring, but also informative. I am learning how to sew and I appreciate your tips, especially the part about not clipping the corners. :)

My sister and I have been watching together. She suggested that you re-label righthand and lefthand to stage right and stage left if that would help. We also work in theater. Loving the series. Thanks for sharing ❤

@lindsaythegreat

I've been on vacation the last week, and it was my big opportunity to do nothing but read and knit. Unfortunately I forgot to limit my knitting, caused a huge flare up in my whole arm, and have been both in pain and unable to do any crafts for several days. This is a timely reminder that a little every day is definitely do-able and probably even a better idea for me, big-picture long-term.

I’ve been loving them sooo much! It’s a perfect length video for my daily knitting session as well and a reminder to take a quick little break. :)
