Crimea bridge video: There have been multiple comments that query whether the truck had started on the incline in the reconstruction. as clearly seen in the CCTV video. The truck was on the incline and was 1 and half spans past the start of the rise. As you see in the image posted here the incline is subtle as all road profile are to ensure a smooth ride. The incline looks much more distinct in the CCTV footage because the perspective is exaggerated by the zoom lens. The truck was 950m 3100ft from the camera but looks much closer in the video because of the foreshortening from the telephoto lens.
The 3d model was carefully modelled to be accurate and the reference pier or large cylindrical concrete element noted on the image attached was very useful when refencing off satellite fotos and other video of the damaged bridge.
The position of the 2nd camera fixed below the rail bridge is also noted on the image.
