I guessed, but it was an educated guess that I got right. 🙂 I figured if there was ever a city known for beautiful, festive pastries that people across the world remember, it's probably Dresden

About 10 years ago, I was on a business trip to Troisdorf and had the chance to go to the Köln Christmas market. I use this word sparingly-it was magical.

Dresden was my first guess but then at the last second I changed it to Cologne. I really enjoy these little trivia things that you post. Please keep it up!

I hope you're enjoying my hometown! Even if it is slightly too warm to get into the Christmas spirit today, I feel.

Hi Feli, I was in Dresden a few days ago, and I visited both the Streizelmarkt and the Augustusmarkt across the river. Beautiful city! Stollen vendors all over, and stores, too. I loved the Christmas lights all over

Dunno, but I remember fruitcakes were described to be so dense they could be used to make bomb shelters. But I'm not sure about the origins of them being used to describe a person.

Get some sleep!! It’s very early in Germany now isn’t it?? It’s currently 0835 EST. Hoping the staus (traffic jams - I know how to pronounce it not spell it!! lol) don’t interfere with your fun! Can’t wait to see the pictures.

Feli from Germany
This week, I’m hosting a group trip to Christmas Markets in Germany and the Czech Republic, and today, we’re in one of Germany’s Christmas capitals! Which city am I in? Hint: This city is famous for its Stollen (fruit cake)!
