Most people don’t know this, but Michael Jackson one of the greatest musicians of all time was actually a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan. He loved video games, owned multiple Sega systems, and played Sonic constantly. His connection to the series went even deeper in 1993, when Sega invited him to secretly help compose music for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Several tracks in the game, like Ice Cap Zone, Carnival Night, Launch Base, and even the end credits theme, match his signature musical style. Jackson’s own team later confirmed he worked on the soundtrack, but he chose not to be credited because he wasn’t happy with how the Sega Genesis sound chip distorted the music. He also kept a private Sega arcade at Neverland Ranch filled with games he loved, including Sonic. So yes the King of Pop was a real Sonic fan, and his influence still echoes in one of the most iconic games in the whole franchise. So yeah if yall didn't know now yall now
