Hunt them or leave them wrapped? These are US Mint wrapped 2004 peace medal and 2005 Buffalos. Whole stash left at my bank.

No! Offer them up For Sale! I had a few rolls of those BRAND NEW, Unc; 2005 Buffalo's/Bison's, stolen from me, back in 2013, and still need to replace them! 😊 LOL!! I've never had any of those Peace Medals yet, but I just might purchase a roll or two of those, also! 🙂 Ron Abilene, T

For the peace medals, check for DDO. And, for bison, look for the big and long die crack that runs all over half it's body, hence the "speared bison" variety.

No need to open any. The coins in the mint packaging had no errors. Many BU rolls were shipped from the Fed to banks and were Loomis or Brinks wrapped amonst other carriers. These are the ones to search for errors.

If it is the Phillys, hunt em, if its the Denvers, keep em rolled, unless you have the bison nickel, hunt for the speared bison

Open at least one to see what the condition is, then you will know what you have if you want to sell them.

@WILLPOWERfreerunning

Hard choice, since there is an error to look for on both of those coins!

Absolutely not, you already know what's in them so please leave them be.
