If you tried to sign up for Patreon in recent months, you might have been confused by it recommending really high-priced tiers and not showing you the lower ones. Someone brought this to my attention today and I noticed that Patreon has been doing that because it was set to recommend tiers with "higher earnings potential" (which is the default). They also made it so that you don't see all the tiers, but instead only three at a time, and to see the rest, you need to click a little arrow that's not very obvious. I've changed it so the default recommendation is the $5 tier, the lower tiers are visible by default, and the higher tiers are hidden behind the arrow instead. Sorry about that. My Patreon setup probably seemed really greedy for a while!
