We first played in Amsterdam in April 2004, and even by then it seemed that we had a passionate following in the Netherlands. We knew that the Paradiso was a legendary club, and so it felt like a big deal to be able to play there later that same year. The show felt intense and celebratory, like a homecoming for us after six months during which our lives had completely changed. Those couple of hours represented perfectly the beautiful and head-spinning journey we had been on.
