At the end of 2023 I made a bet.. At that time my YouTube channel featured mainly low-code solutions, with a focus on Robotic Process Automation.
With a programming background myself, I wanted to return to my "roots" and anticipated that the barrier to entry for programming was lowering thanks to GenAI.
This year, for the first time in history, Python has become the most used programming language in the world!
According to GitHub Octoverse report, it's not traditional software developers who made Python the most popular language in the world. The rise in Python use correlates with large communities from STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) using Python.
