as someone going through the college grind rn I feel you so hard. its so exhausting but I want to succeed. its not the path that little me would have chosen, but I think that he'd still be proud, esp because I've kept drawing all this time despite the world trying to beat the creativity out of me

As someone who graduated college with an art degree… I’ve found this out the hard way lately 😅 unfortunately I’m also finding out the working 9-5 non-stop until I’m 70 isn’t fun either so idk what to think rn

unrelated life upd8; after many years and dropping out twice, i managed to get into 2nd year of uni
i am already so tired from all the travelling i have to get done everyday...but im determined to make it work
as a teen i thought all i wanted to be was to be a NEET artist living off art online, but that shit doesnt work long term for anyone and when i actually started living that lifestyle, it fucked me upppp BAD
but in my twenties i realized that what i want is to have a higher education that broadens my horizons, and a stable job that i dont hate and that cant be replaced by ai and i am crawling closer to that goal while still drawing every free moment that i am able to
@ younger ppl dont take "content creation" too seriously... let it be the fun thing u do on the side. Sometimes when u realize ur dreams it turns out what u wished for sucks and u will be probably happier living an average life and having a 9 to 5 rather than clout chasing for spare change
