It only takes one negative review from a content creator I respect for me not to buy a game. Given the financial incentives to just play along and fluff bad product, I respect the ones that have the stones to be critical. Thanks Lee.

I'm liking it so far. Just starting playing about in "developerMode" to see how we can set up maps so that the starting premise is more like Reddington.

I’ve only played about 5 hours of CS2, so far I’m underwhelmed. I sure hope there are going to be mods like prop line tool, move it and undo it available soon.

I expect I'll get it at some point but right now I'm waiting for it to bed in.

Was enjoying it but I’m now afraid of the future economic issues I’m hearing - I want a rewarding city building experience - What’s your go-to city builder/management game now?

Thankfully I have a Mac so I don't have to agonise over whether to get CS2 or not... that decision was made for me LOL

I’d love to try cities 2 but my computer isn’t up to the challenge. I refuse to spend the money on hardware so cities 1 for the foreseeable future. I do think cities 2 will end up being great.

I’m only several hours into CS2. Currently at “will/want to love it”. Obviously, there are optimization and quality of life changes that would help immensely, but I think the bones of the game are very solid and will only continue to improve. But I don’t like this trend in video games. Between public opinions and the gaming world climate, I am having trouble enjoying games at all right now. Everything feels like a downer.

It ran so well until we got to Big Town. Now...well...low res N64 graphics or blue screen

I wanted to say Cites Skylines 2 is the best new city builder game, but I can't lie to myself or be delusional about it, Paradox Interactive isn't trustworthy anymore, idk if colossal order is being forced to do things like that or not, if this is not the case they're doing all these awful decisions and not care about us the community that made this game bigger, all credits for modders, saved it, without them cites skylines could have gone irrelevant long time ago....for me cities skylines 2 is just a copy of the first one but on crack, but isn't looking good, the trees, the grass texture is just dead and stupid, the maps doesn't have anything beautiful and unique, the monuments on the map are still the same as cities skylines 1, this is a slap in our faces, I feel like they thought we could easily love the game and lick their boots for that mess, and encouraging them to do the same and we could be happy like nothing is wrong, if you watch the developers last video, they're all acting like everything is great, the "best city builder game ever" I can't be this delusional to believe on their statements, and some YouTube channels are defending all the atrocities made on cities skylines 2, and all I can see is the real best city builder game from the current generation is Workers and Resources Soviet Republic, all the features we all could imagine to see in a great city builder this game has accomplished many of them, and it's going to do lots of things that other city builder games more relevant haven't done.... cities skylines 1 could be the best city builder of the last generation and could still be the best on out there because of the modders...but cities skylines 2 will make it irrelevant for the next year's, developers will drop the game dead, and focus on milking DLCs for cities skylines 2 💀 I won't be part of that repeating disaster. uuuhh sim city 2013... EA killing the best game ever..... history is trying to repeat it again, so another better city builder game comes in and steal the last one throne..

I think they need to take a step back and start from scratch. This version stinks, and that's putting it mildly

I have not played the game as my mid-tier laptop (an humble Acer Predator Helios 300) can't play it (so I've heard). Fortunately, I trust your opinion so I'll save my money!!! Maybe now you can update this series: https://youtu.be/bPxVtTw5fAk?si=p9lTE2YOETQSLyIv Thanks!!
