Fixing Disney Star Wars

Was Kathleen Kennedy right? Was it really the rematch of the century?

@batfankjb3211

I don’t think it was needed but I was entertained now I did like those lines between Ewan and Hayden but it’s just always nice to see them in Star Wars together

@turkeofSea

If we condense the series into a 2 hour movie , I think I wouldn't mind. Even if it appears disconnected.

They just did the Ahsoka vs Darth Vader duel from rebels and remade it with obi wan and Vader with a few changes

@mrboost4186

Was cool but they hyped it up so much I was expecting something a bit deeper

@Mr.Needle-Hamster

She just said that to spice things up.

Kathleen Kennedy has proven over and over again she isn’t right about anything. She might be a great producer, but she doesn’t understand Star Wars one bit.

You could skip obi wan completely and it wouldn’t change anything. The results are the same. Obi wan beats vader then goes into hiding.

I honestly didn't expect this show or the rematch to be great ? what I got was just ok with some cool moments !

I liked it expect the rocks being launched at Vader. If they had said that he was using the Dark Side, it'd be more understanding and correspond with Yoda's warring to Luke about how easy and quick it is. Dunno that whole segment felt like Star Wars Theory's fanfics took over. Plus for a AI replicating JLJ's voice..really hammered in the rage. Hayden nailed it as well, I loved how the fight wasn't big twirls or dance routines.

@darthvader971

I think this showed Dooku as Sidious' most powerful apprentice (I originally thought it was Vader)...

@northman4514

The worst Star Wars since the sequels .

@jeythecount6546

Not really... I didn't like the fight too much, it felt too overly choreographerd for me.

@MovieMentality

Characters were way too overpowered which fucks with the OT’s continuity. Kenobi lifting an entire mountain worth of rocks with absolute ease is total trash. Same problem I had with Rey at the end of TLJ. When Yoda lifts the X Wing he is really concentrating. When he stops the pillar crushing Obi Wan and Anakin at the end of AOTC he is really concentrating. Obi Wan just lifts that shit like it’s nothing. Not to mention surviving under hundreds of tons of rock. And that fucking shaky cam! 🤬

I mean it was definitely good, but rematch of the century was definitely an exaggerating

@D4C_Gaming

Don’t get me wrong, it was a good fight, but it certainly wasn’t “rematch of the century” good.

Star Wars fans are insufferable

I left a comment on the R2 post.

Movies Remastered actually loved it and it looks good from what I see too. Oh and I think I have something for the Last Jedi thing and even have the Obi-Wan show get referenced. See maybe you can bring up in the edit how similar Obi-Wan and Luke have become and how history seems to have repeated itself. Even Obi-Wan bringing up how he thought Anakin couldn't be saved but Luke did it, so there is still a small but possible chance for Ben to be saved.

It was weird. Weird choice of location, weird progression of the fight, weird climax to the fight, weird resolution. Fell far, far short of a rematch of the century for a fight that really didn’t need to happen. It even fell short of what they themselves teased with that concept art, not only that, but it was derivative and unoriginal.
