The best weapon ever is a pointy stick, the Spear is undefeated. Has good range, easy to use, easy to make. Just grab any sturdy pole and sharpen the end or stick a kitchen knife and everyone can have low maintenance and safe weapon

Reminder that a katana can get rusty with blood, so if you'd kill something with it you'd need to clean it, not mention that it'll get dull the more you use it

A pistol is good but there is no silencer then it's. A big dinner bell ( you can also run out of bullets ) . Bat with a wire will get stuck for sure . A chainsaw will make a lot of sound will attract a lot of zombies in the end i will say a katana will be a good weapon in a zombie apocalypse make sure to sharp it time to time

You would need refill bullets for a pistol, a bat with nails and barbed wire is dangerous as it is unstable and I would rather get eaten by the zombies before you force me to carry a chainsaw everywhere. It's hard to manoeuvre as well. I've watched enough demon slayer to use a katana (I HOPE). I also did kendo, so the option was kinda easy for me

Reminder: if this were a zombie one, if their blood gets in or even ON you, you're already infected. So weapons that make a huge, bloody mess (looking at you, chainsaw), are pretty risky.

katanas are lightweight, easy to carry, and can easily hack through limbs or the neck with a good swing only downside is that they need more maintenance than the other weapons to keep them sharp and battle ready otherwise the blood and dirt will quickly dull and rust the blade

Depends on the apocalypse but if i had to choose a weapon i would definitely not get the chainsaw i would probably get the pistol simce ammon is easy to find the katana is also good it needs sharpening but cleaning it works and you can thrust with it even if it isnt sharp the bat is also pretty good

A shovel, especially the smaller flatter head ones. My uncle is a wildlife ranger, you cannot imagine the ways he uses his shovel. Sharpen the edge and you got a deadly weapon, shorten the handle and you got a handaxe, lengthen the handle and you got a spear/poleaxe. And it still functions like a normal shovel
