I think the right one looks more vibrant, and give the background more life. However, I’ve seen arguments for it being the left because you want the background to blend in. I still think the right one is better because it makes the Walls and platforms more distinct resulting in the player being able to digging the background from foreground better. I think either is fine, but I prefer the right

depends on how much you want tje background to pop, personally i prefer the first one, keeps it more separated

you should use unity's sprint renderer, but also keep the general vibrance and color that the right gif has. It looks fresh and unique.

I understand the argument for the first one but I feel like it makes the BG too distant, the MS paint only makes it feel like that boulder is actually right behind the player vs far in the distance. Also MS paint one keeps with the MS paint challenge better.

Hi everyone, I need your help. I am making a game using MS paint only, should I be allowed to use Unity's sprite renderer color option to make things look better (for example making background objects darker) like in the first gif, or should I use MS Paint colors only (2nd gif)? Thanks!
