Behind the scenes from the HAUNTED BARN DANCE 🪩👻🎃 This was a very playful and fun video to create, hope you all enjoy it!
1. Color Sketch vs Final Render. You can see the initial design idea, and then how more detail and character came into focus. It was fun exploring the different farm tropes and imagining the “characters.” I made up a lot of little stories about who these ghosts and scarecrows might be and what happened on this farm.
2. Green Screen Ghost Dancers. I like to use practical effects whenever I can for the nostalgia and it's fun to mix reality with digital. I’ve been using this same trick to add ghosts into my Halloween videos since 2019, so if you’ve watched before, you’ve definitely seen this costume in action.
3. Haunted Hayride! I’ve had this idea in the back of my mind for years, and I was really happy to finally include it. I try to add humor into my videos whenever I can, and the idea of ghosts joyriding through the fields of this abandoned farm just made me happy.
