TLDR: Yellow eyes mean the other side of his magic— Pink Rooster— either apathetic or careless. Rooster might be a half good half evil genie (the race mentioned in like... episode 5, I believe?). Read the whole theory for an in-depth analysis. Dingo, I don't know if you'll see this, but I am always happy to see Sands (and Fool's Gold) uploaded. Everyone of the campaigns is amazing. I'd buy Kofis if I could. I will be buying the graphic novel. Theory: Remember that art of Rooster that says, "I am a genie... right?"? In every void he goes to, he is confirmed pink and yellow. Extensive genie magic, most recently Nurbles glowing the same magic, is also PINK and YELLOW. The image aforementioned had a Rooster with pink skin and yellow eyes (looking empty and netural) and vice versa (manic and insane like a certain murderhobo monkey). This comic is set in the present, meaning all of the adventure has gone up to this point. Rooster has YELLOW eyes, a staple of the neutral Rooster, or perhaps... he is done, he is done, and he doesn't care what happens. Maybe it's not neutrality. Pink Rooster represents carelessness, maybe even apathy. He could be one half genie, and one half of the evil genie race (notice how little they've been mentioned?). I think half-genie implies genie as we know it, separating the evil race of genies as "not genies", beyond mortal understanding. I think this is the identity of yellow Rooster. The manic Rooster who loses himself and murders, for example, a king that was supposed to be killed BY Kore. But this is all just a Sands theory! I'm excited to see what the shifting sands and the ominous glow of iridescence tell in the tales (or tails) of these loveable goofballs! Take care!

Always imagine what it will look like when rooster grants the first wish of the campaign and goes Creepy Evil Genie mod… somehow I think it won’t be as badass as this. Also the art is pure chefs kiss 🤌
