My hammer always had scripture or warnings etched into its face. Any foe worth subduing or smiting by my deity’s guidelines//judgment got a stamp of divine disapproval right across the head. There was this lich we fought three times. By the end, he gave up. Couldn’t resurrect properly anymore, DM said all the radiant damage from the stamps screwed him up. Thing is, the hammer itself never did radiant damage. The stamps did. Only if I rolled an 16 or higher, though. The hammer? Just a hammer.. A hammer that made you take 1 radiant dmg for every turn.. for every stamp, indefinitely 😂 This also worked great against a thief i ended up turning into another clergy, because everyone thought he was a zealot from the texts on his body.. he was supposed to be like swiper from dora, running accounter gag.. he ended up becoming my next carracter when my deranged priest fell to a horde
