Another thing I think that happens is you lose the ability to become patient in every aspect of life, aapko sab tabhi chahiye jab aap chahe, because porn me aapko apne hisab se sab milta hai, this behavioural pattern of not being patient and all applications of patience in life suffer from this habit, you will lose out a lot on a lot of things in life, you will also have very weak resolve in everything you do, because you are not patient enough to keep going in putting effort in anything. Trust me guys every behavioural pattern is like a muscle the more you do it the stronger it gets the less you do it the weaker it gets.

whenever you have a thought in your mind about doing something, don't just rush into it. wait for 2 minutes or more if you feel like. let everything settle and then you're free to do whatever you like whether it's the right or the wrong thing. please do this for a while, do this every time. you could think about why you want to do what you want to do and how you're actually going to do it. but the important part is to wait, and let things settle in your mind before doing something. don't just act on a whim. when you wait and stop to think or just observe, that's when you become more conscious. it is hard to be conscious if you keep doing one thing after another without a break or talk endlessly without pauses. when there's a gap, i guess your brain processes things better. so create that gap between your repetitive behaviors, otherwise your brain just needs to send an impulse, and you're on a new mission. we've conditioned our brain to function all ADHD like. doesn't matter if it seems like the right thing, if you're getting that sudden motivation, for eg. you want to write a new song. wait 2 minutes and actually think about why and how you're going to do it. you don't even have to think, your brain will handle the thinking for you. you just need to pause. and soon enough you'll learn that you can pause WHILE doing things, without actually pausing what you're doing, but you're in pause and the doing continues(maybe the brain is handling it). and it logically follows that you can create this gap in every part of your life, perhaps it would help you become much more conscious. and I've haven't gotten there yet but I feel it's possible. so good luck. and even if you've laid down your weapons and have been beaten by your impulses and look like a pathetic loser, be a hero and wait 2 minutes before you give up. so that even if you fail, your impulses will slowly lose their grip on you and you will decondition yourself over time.

For I'm aware there are millions of people suffering from PIED but won't come forward and accept it.may be because of society or their own personal guilt and shame
