Honestly if we get a Skylanders 7, I'd love it to be time related. Kaos travels back in time in an attempt to undo his precious losses. It gives us an excuse to revisit the old games and locations while still allowing us to explore new places within those worlds. I know it's just a pipe dream, but I'd love it.

I fully believe a remaster is the better way to go if the remasters of crash, bandicoot and Spyro have taught us anything, improving an old game with new things and then working your way up with a brand new title really works.

I might even prefer a reMAKE as opposed to a remaster, if it would mean adding more characters or characters from the other games, and maybe making the Giants actually Giant.

Remaster, but in order not to make the mistake they made before, add all 4 OG skylanders per element, but instead make them like the same character but looks slightly different so it’s worth buying and also new players could buy those and old players could buy them for collection, and 1 new skylander per element which come in 2 packs so it’s not just the same characters again and collectors would have something to come back for.

Since the lil cards that make skylanders are dying. I say a mix of the two. Hear me out This game is a remaster of all previous ones put together. You unlock the next game when you beat the previous. Again, since chip are dying, heres what we do with the skylanders themselves. You put them on the portal, and it scans their lil ID number. Unlocking them. So you can summon them without having to put them on the portal (though it will be an option) Itll be done well enough that you cant just get infinite spyros. Cause each figure has a unique ID (i believe) Additionally, you can just, buy them outright so we dont get limited problems cough*Robow*cough The figures are just a nice extra thing for people. Any new game they make will be DLC for people to pick up instead of making entirely new games. This will also make all skylanders compatible with all games. Instead of only being able to use trap team members in trap team and beyond.

I think from a marketing stand point a remaster would be the best way to test the water to see if there's still interest in buying it. Plus it could be a great way to get new players if the make it so you can unlock the characters without figures. But also make it so people who already have figures can use them to unlock instantly with all progress that is saved on the figures.

I would absolutely treasure an SSA/Giants remaster if I could play as later characters, particularly imaginators. I'm not sure how that would be possible without jumping, though, so I'll say Spyro 4 for now.

As much as I would love a new installment in the series, I think a remaster of the earlier games would be more appropriate. It'd be great to see the older games with updated graphics or even new features!
