I’m a Christian and know you don’t hate Christians at all. Exposing evil is one of the things Jesus tells us to do. Abuse in the church is NOT Christ-like and He will deal with them when the time comes. It breaks my heart to see the abuse…. but I feel a huge warmth in my heart for the victims who still have a huge heart for Jesus despite what they have been through. It encourages me to be bold in standing for good even when the evil is coming from those who are supposed to care for the Lord’s followers. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and if these so called pastors/preachers truly had fear of God… these horrible things would never happen. It makes you wonder if they truly believe or not if they know that God is watching ALL they do. God bless you all. Jesus really loves you. ❤️

Independent Fundamental Baptists often consider criticism of their practices as discrimination against all Christians.

Sadly, many people in the church have trouble thinking critically because we were taught not to ask questions, do as your told, and repeat what you're taught...which is actually all unbiblical. The pastors were questioned all the time in the New Testament by the Bereans who would make sure they were teaching what the bible actually says. Also, we are supposed to study to be able to answer questions, and weigh everything, and take everything with a grain of salt.

You're doing good work. They need to stop just living in denial. The only thing I've ever thought about you that might not have been quite as positive was that you seem to have sort of lost all faith. Maybe not I don't know I hope not. I've had a lot of bad experiences with people from the IFB myself. It's got nothing to do with Christ dying for my sins though. You got to remember brother most of them would have walked by Lazarus at the gate and told him to get a job and other snooty rude remarks. They would have insisted they were right too because after all they would have had a verse to "back up" what they were saying. They're full of it bro you and I know that but it's got nothing to do with God's free gift I hope you realize that in all this.

Exposing the problems with how Christianity is practiced, or problems with Christian culture is often seen as an attack on Christianity. I think some people are just not going to understand.

There are those who are quick to acuse without any evidence. Shameful!

Some people you just shouldn't respond to. You know your true intentions. It's just a hating world right now...Peace and Love

Ahh. Geez. Some people just look for reasons to be offended. You can't win. I'm from IFB land (years ago) and still deal with family members that clutch their pearls and run away when challenged. So, F 'em. They'll defend the indefensible until they can't and then hide.

Maybe they have a different reason for complaining against you. Maybe their internet browser has stories to tell. On them. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m Christian and I know your backstory. You have choices just like the rest of us. You’ve chosen to walk away. That hurts my heart for you. I’ll still pray for you and I pray you will change your mind but I don’t see any animosity towards Believer

Respectfully, the counter you are looking for isn't "I've worked with Christians, and therefore cannot be bigoted against them." That is, unfortunately, the "I have a Black friend" of rebuttals (though there are certainly differences, I hope the throughline is evident). Being a critic or opponent of practices that harm people and/or protect predators is not discriminatory. And a system of practices which refuses to take meaningful action to fix those problems merits criticism, and merits opposition.

Hello I have see your channel before and I think that there some interesting facts regarding the IFB. I myself grew up in a Hispanic IFB and yes there was once an incident that happened in our church but I am glad that our Pastor did not hesitate and called the authorities immediately and made the church aware of the situation and made sure if there was anyone else out there to speak up and come forward to the authorities. Our pastor made sure nothing like this would happen again and many things changed when adults worked with the youth and kids. That incident happened almost 20 years ago and I did ask our Pastor why are you so cautious about an Abuse happening and I can remember the response he gave me and said I do not want the church or us to be remembered like we did nothing. I come back to visit the church and I can see that the rules he implemented 20 years ago are still used. His open door policy, the way finances of the church are open for everyone to see to me that is what I expect from a church and it sad to hear these stories of abuse in these churches and sadly some of these Pastors I have actually seen them and heard them preach. But like our Pastor says don’t ever come to church because of a Pastor, come to church because u want to build a relationship with God and help others. God is the main focus I am just a man sharing his word and a man can let you down. And words that stick with me till this day is when he says a good Christian does not make u better because you go to church, church is a place we gather to refresh our batteries spiritually and to bring others to share the word of God. At the end Christianity is a relationship between you and God and no one else, the church nor the Pastor can save you. Just wanted to share my experience that there are some churches that are IFB that have distance themselves from that old mentality of trying to hide and pastors out there almost glorifying themselves. It’s sad that vulnerable people out there when they look for help are abused and mistreated and I am not against this channel at all. I think if there are facts and many people speak up, something should be done. At the end we can agree and disagree on Religion of what is right and what is wrong but when it comes to any abuse, morally and humanly there is nothing more right then calling the police right away and have our justice system deal with them. I was shocked to see the stories that were shared and Pastors turning blind on the situation it is disgusting. I can go on about some these Pastors that u have shared on this page and the things I have heard come out there mouth thinking that this is the South of the 1940 and 50’s. Our pastor shares a stories of how those men of that time would tell him that what u see with the English American churches can never be done with Hispanics. Making Religion about Race and he would always say to them why not we were are all created the same. I can go on about this but keep doing what you guys are doing and speak up. Not sure if you all still if you guys are still involved in church or still consider yourselves Christian not really sure but keep doing what you are doing. I myself as u say it a IFB member (never heard of this term until now) fully support on what is right.

Preacher Boys
If you want to accuse me of indiscriminately hating all Christians, you should probably take a step back and look at my episodes and just how many I’ve done *with* Christians.
I’ll save you some time, there are a LOT.
