I was fortunate enough to be working near meersburg back in my travelling days and there was an air n marine show on at lake constance and I paid for a short spin in the dornier do that was on show and taking people up for rides,there was a vintage carrier there also aswell as messhersmits n focker wolfs amd even a stuck kit plane( some type of cessna with a hobby kit stuka body on it ,a red baron plus a p51 amd spitfire as well as a Russian ww2 replica and a japenese zero amd hyabusa,most I think were all hobby kit builds onto cessna motors but they all looked the part and the hornier was the real deal,what an experience that day was
