The 2.8 Story Quest felt like watching a slice-of-life/romance anime. While I'm generally not a fan of how much they push the harem elements, this time it felt genuinely entertaining. The second half was especially wholesome and had me smiling like a little girl. We got some old characters interacting with each other, good lore drops, and the music was excellent.
Overall, this update served as a pleasant breather before the main action expected in 3.0. Honami City is fucking beautiful. Even if the narrative leans into cheesy territory sometimes, I'll always commend Wuwa's quality of presentation that even basic stories don't feel dull unlike certain other games that make me reach out for an Ibuprofen.
