If you’re gonna turbo one of your Z’s most definitely do the HR. Better stock internals and more power capability down the road. And if you are contemplating which setup to go with, bottom mount seems to be very solid. Much lower temps, very easy to drop if you need to work on it, and you’re in Cali so being less flashy is important too :)

unlimited moneys i go up top… realistically i’d go rear mount as it’s drastically cheaper and easier

Why top mount ? It's more expensive it's in the hot engine bay there is more fabrication work involved with a top mount setup, rear mount all day it's the easiest and most sleeper look there can be especially for California folks
