A worried couple, consisting of a Man and Woman, waited in the Living Room for any news about their son. "Please, Lord...", the Dad began to pray, "please... if it is your will... in Jesus' name, please... bring our son back to us..." As the parents said their amens, their silent environment was disrupted by the ringing of their doorbell. The Dad went to answer it. And what a blessing! It's Kuper Spyronic! Gently carrying the boy. "Special delivery!", Kuper joked, as he carefully handed the child back. "Calvin! Oh, merciful God!", the Dad exclaimed. The Mom soon joined him at the door. "Calvin! My boy!", she said, tears in her eyes. "Mommy! Daddy! I'm home!", Calvin said. The Dad looked up to thank Calvin's rescuer. "Thank y-" but he cut off his words, as when he looked up, Kuper was already gone.
Meanwhile, as Officers just arrived on the scene of the messed up Prius, they noticed someone in the back seat of the vehicle. As they opened the doors and pulled the front seats forward, the captor from earlier sat, wrapped in the seatbelts of her own car, clearly alive, and simply restrained. And attached is a note, simply saying "Kid safe, take this lady in". The Policemen looked in astonishment. "...This is the last time I drink decaf", one said.
Meanwhile, Kuper, using Wheelkron's speed and expert navigation, returned to the side of the road on Muddy Lane. Taking his hat off, Kuper reverted to Richard, carefully taking his backpack out of its hiding spot. Dusting off the backpack of dirt and grass, he opened the pocket currently containing his glasses, putting them back on. Looking at his watch, Richard smiles, seeing that the task did not take as long as he thought. "Just in time for work", he said, now putting the Kassyrian Headgear into the pocket he hid it in. With that, he was off to his job at the Keg and Barrel Factory. As his work day goes on, there is hardly any unnecessary interruption, not even from Bayrell and his little group. Richard interacted with his friend Rodney as well as his coworkers, all very surprised the said group didn't come by. As work ended that day, Richard made his trek home. On his way, however, the sounds of birds and branches could not hide the sound of voices. Familiar voices. Rick looked through a gate leading up a hill to a clearing, carefully staying quiet. As he peeked over the gate, Richard could make out 3 figures. One of them, wearing a muscle shirt, black jeans, and sneakers, the other with a grey light jacket, a dark blue shirt underneath, tan cargo pants, and simple running shoes. And the last one. Bayrell. But they were surrounding someone. But not just anyone. It was his friend Rodney Westone! The 3 harassers pushed Rodney to the floor. Rodney stood up again, and tried to Rugby tackle one of the brutes. Unfortunately, Bayrell simply shoved Rodney away. "Woah, woah! This guy's got some fight in him!", Bayrell mockingly remarked as he then drove his fist into Rodney's gut, causing the poor young man to fall to the floor in pain. Rick watched as they tormented his best friend. But he remembered that he now has the ability to not just protect himself, but his friends, and his father. The capacity to stand up to great injustice. Richard looked around, and once sure he is in the clear, took the Hat from his backpack, swapped it with his glasses, and put it on. "Henshin", he said a bit quieter this time. And once again, the changes in appearance, strength, and agility occurred in a split second. And with a light kneel down and a push off the ground, he jumped up high and landed right in front of his friend Rodney, blocking off Bayrell and his group. The 3 are startled, unmoving. They don't know what to make of him. "Did this young man do something to you?", Kuper asked sternly. None of them answered at first. "This ain't your business, pal, scram!", Bayrell said as he stepped towards Kuper. "Do you wanna end up like him?", Bayrell threatened Kuper, getting in his face. Kuper simply gave him the side eye. No shaking. No flinching. "Get out of my face, you conserved cooking mistake", Kuper said to Bayrell. "Oh ho ho! The big boy wanna play rough! Well, we can't just leave him out now, huh?", Bayrell said mockingly. "Hey, Carl, show him how the game's played!" At that moment, the one wearing the muscle shirt, black jeans, and sneakers walked up to Kuper, not knowing what he's getting into. "I don't like you, pal", Carl said. "I don't like you either, what's your point?", Kuper responded. Carl then chuckled, and without warning, threw a right hook, which Kuper swiftly lifted his right hand to block. In a slick maneuver, Kuper grabbed Carl's upper right arm, and swung him into the nearby shed wall, with just enough force to knock him unconscious. Somewhat sinisterly, Kuper turned toward the other 2. "C'mon! You have the advantage! There's only one of me, and 2 of you!", Kuper said mockingly. "Okay! You said, dumbass!", Bayrell replied as he and the one with the grey light jacket, dark blue shirt, cargo pants, and running shoes ran at kuper to gang up on him. "Get his back, James!", Bayrell said, finally identifying the 3rd member. As soon as they are but one inch of him, Kuper simply jumps over them, landing behind James. Then, with a mocking smile, he tapped James on the shoulder. James turned slowly towards Kuper, only for the hero to deliver a swift backhanded blow across James' face, knocking him to the floor. Bayrell, intimidated but stubborn, pulls out a switchblade. "Uh oh!" Bayrell said mockingly as he moved side to side, waving the blade in a circle. Kuper raised his eyebrow, and looked to the nearest rock. "Who needs knives?", Kuper said as he charged energy into his right hand, and performed the Vermillion Slash once more, swiftly moving his open hand from the far left in front of his left shoulder to the far right, instantly sending out a visible wave of green, blue, and purple energy, put together in that order of colors into a wide crescent that flew swiftly at the rock, cutting it clean in half. Bayrell shut his mouth. No words. No sound. His eyes wide. Bayrell dropped his switchblade, shaking in fear. "So, you like picking on the weak, huh?", Kuper said as he began to approach. "Workers, employees, that sort? What, cuz you're 6'4? Why does that make a difference?" Bayrell scrambled to pick up his Switchblade, pointing it at Kuper. "Stay back, pal, stay back!", Bayrell said, still shaking in his boots. Kuper looked down at the knife, and with his bare hand, firmly grasped it by the blade. One would have thought this was a stupid decision. But instead of bleeding his hand out, Kuper simply began to turn the blade, twisting it into a full pretzel shape as if it were clay or simple wire. "Well, newsflash, pal.", Kuper said as he then grabbed Bayrell by the collar, "No matter if he or she is close, far away, or yet to be existent, there is always gonna be someone stronger. Faster. Smarter. So why should you mess with the weak when I just proved you're weak yourself? Now here's what's gonna happen here on out." Kuper lifted Bayrell even higher by the collar, despite the height advantage the Bully had. "From now on, you're not gonna bother that young man over there, if you wanna talk to him, the words from your mouth better be 'I'm sorry for treating you like absolute crap' or 'hey, maybe we can be friends instead', and if I see him with so much as a red mark, so help me God, I will put you in a wheelchair for the rest of your LIFE!", Kuper threatened, "Do I make myself clear? Nod if you understand." Bayrell, struck with fear, shaking like crazy, nodded. "Good. Now GET OUT!", Kuper yelled as he tossed Bayrell to the floor, holding back his strength as to not break his bones or any fracturing. "And take your little boyband with you!", Kuper yelled after him. Bayrell ran to James and Carl, starting to drag them away. The other 2 scurried and scrambled to their feet. "C'mon, let's go, man!", Bayrell said. Kuper turned toward Rodney. Approaching him slowly, he extends a hand to help Rodney up. "Thanks! Thank you so much!", Rodney said, "I'm Rodney! Rodney Westone!", he continued, extending his arm for a handshake. "Kuper Spyronic. At your service", Kuper replied, accepting the greeting. "Wait, you're the guy who beat up that Turtle on TV! That was cool!", Rodney said, finally recognizing him from the news coverage. "Wow. I'm... on the news", Kuper replies, unamused by this. "That's a good thing! You're like a real superhero!", Rodney says joyfully. "Listen, publicity... isn't my thing. I'd rather just be a helping hand, ya know?", Kuper says, "Trust me, I ain't no Hollywood star. Just here to help Elkton." "I can see that! The way you stood up to Bayrell was awesome! I have a friend who's tried, but it doesn't end well. But you're an inspiration!", Rodney said. "Yeah..." Kuper, Richard if you will, knew deep down that even without this power he now had, there should be no excuse to cower away. As much as he didn't like to be the immature one and report everything. But he had to do somethin, even as Rick Goodman. Be strong enough to say when enough is enough. "Rodney. You were brave for trying to take them on. If anyone's the inspiration here, it's you.", Kuper said, lowering his hat by the brim. "Really?", Rodney said, "Well, thank you, I'm so glad I can-" But as Rodney turned away and looked back, Kuper was already gone. Despite this, Rodney smiled. "That guy's AWESOME!"
