You might want to mention to your girlfriend that BAND-MAID are playing the final show of their 10th Anniversary tour at Yokohama Arena, by far their biggest show to date. it will be impossible for her to not have an amazing time at that show. tickets are still available. the show is also being streamed so you could watch the same show at the same time as your GF ;) it's being streamed on Zaiko website and you can get a 7 day pass or a 1 month pass for the archive

There is a store in Shibuya called Blitz Clothing Store. They specialize in new, old metal tour merchandise. I picked up a LOT of metal tour shirts from there back in September! I believe the owner grabs up whatever stock is leftover from various bands touring through Japan wholesale.

If your girlfriend wants to do some record shoping, I'd recomend Disc Union in Shinjuku. the shop is over 4 buildings around the area. I went there the last time I went to Japan, and was amazed by the amout of stuff they have.
