Feel better, chef. I’d make a big batch of chicken congee with lots of ginger. 😊

Feel better soon! I agree with everyone saying bone broth, congee, any soup really. Take it easy if you can

Kichidi ( Indian lentil + rice porridge) if you feel like having something vegetarian, you add a bunch of ginger, whole peppercorns, can add veggies like carrots, peas, green beans and potatoes too. Congee/soup is a solid option too as others are suggesting.

In my household, we usually have a chicken consumè and a hot lemonade with cinnamon, and recently I made a ginger and jaggery hot chocolate, which really helped when I was feeling sick

SAMYETANG Edit, kimchi jiggae, soondubo jiggae or garlic soup would also be good ideas. Kimchi jiggae and soondubu are in my soup rotation during soup season

Whenever I feel sick I make some chicken congee! For sides you can do pickled radishes (za cai) or if you're feeling up to it suan ni bai rou with sauce on the side is perfect. To round it out with some veggies just some very easy leafy veggies always works for me. On a wok I put some oil on high heat and throw the garlic in and fry for maybe 2 seconds before adding in veg like bok choy. Then I add water and let it steam for 2 ish minutes before finishing off with salt and sugar for balance.

My go-to garbage food when I'm sick is McDonald's because my fevers create delusions that I will feel better eating that. I would go with Avgolomono.... something about orzo, egg yolk, lemon, and dill with chicken just warms my soul sick or not!

Hope you feel better, you work so hard! We Bangladeshis make a rice porridge at times when we are sick. It's rice and veggies, onions, garlic, spoon of oil, green chillies cooked together, may be with a pinch of turmeric based on one's taste or skip. Serve with ghee or olive oil on top or lemon juice. It's really comforting and filling. Can add chicken too.

Black Cumin seed oil, myrhh extract, and oil of oregano taken together can wipe out pretty much anything. Lemon ginger tea helps
