Arizona is awesome. Such iconic desert scenery, giant cacti, and sun bleached mountains. You could visit the great cities of Phoenix and Tucson, and wonderful towns like Sedona and Flagstaff. Of course Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon are jaw dropping. Loads of excellent bars/saloons, full of interesting people, which I'm sure you'd enjoy Wendall!
