Lost my best friend a couple months too man. They leave massive holes in our heart but its better to have them , than never have known them. Best you can do is love them as much as you can

Feel you, sorry for your loss. Lost my 18 year old cat this week, couldn't get to see her since she lived with my parents on the other side of the country. But I know she lived a good life and I was there for the majority of it :). Day by day it gets better, cherish the good memories!
