After all that friendliness and having a good time on VE day,it wasn't long after that some of the people celebrating found out it was VD day.I was told this by an ex military Doctor, long gone.He said it was spreading like wildfire through the land,he said due to the numbers contracting it in such a short time it was the only explanation available.
