Idk about the poll, the crossroads of destiny was a vibe. Like we all knew aang was eventually gonna defeat ozai, but having aang almost killed in Crossroads of destiny was absolutely mad.

Crossroads of Destiny is my favorite moment. A reminder that our hero can lose, and we were on the verge of losing him and a reminder of the key value of friendship and love.

“FIRE LORD OZAI, YOU AND YOUR FOREFATHERS HAVE DEVASTATED THE BALANCE OF THIS WORLD. AND NOW YOU SHALL PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE.” was a core memory for 12-year-old me

I think we need to shed some more light on siege if the north. Yes there was more story to tell, but I feel like it’s underrated. When Zhao took out the moon spirit then Yue sacrificed herself, tugging on my heart strings

‘It’s over’ ‘NO, IT’S NOT OVER’ Chills every time. This series is one of the best of all time. Way ahead of it’s time.

Iroh threatening zhao while he’s holding the moon spirit is one of my favorite ATLA moments of all time. A stern warning of “I’ll do to you 10x over what you do to that spirit” then one final order of “PUT IT DOWN NOW!” And finally when zhao kills the spirit iroh wastes zero time or words just goes straight to fighting and takes out 3 soldiers by himself and scaring zhao so bad he runs away only to be caught by the avatar.

I really like how every season ends get like a theme color matching with the element of their book

I still remember the countdown to season 3 being on the lower left side of the TV that day. That was the biggest event of my childhood

Seeing the final Agni Kai the first time was just one of those moments where you appreciate that you kept up with the development of a character from start to finish. The full circle closure it brings is extremely satisfying to watch.

Bruh the way aang and the koi fish monster merged and wiped out that entire fire Nation fleet will always be my favorite

Siege of the North is full of everything. Its touching, dramatic, and thrilling. And of course, we can feel how rough Sokka's love was 😆

In Crossroads of Destiny, the music during the exact scene the gif is showing conveys the exact feelings watching it. Aang is finally able to use his Avatar state again and it looks like it will be what brings them victory in this what was so far very one sided fight, the music sounds triumphant for a moment. Then the lightning hits like a jump scare, the music immediately turns fearful as to what just happened, Aang essentially dies in the Avatar state, which we had been warned repeatedly would end the Avatar cycle. Obviously Katara saves him, but the way that moment hits is unlike anything else in this show, or really any other media.

The entire ba sing se arc was fantastic, and the ending was the cherry on the top.

"I was never angry with you" made me cry harder then I had cried in a long time when I first watched it. Sozins comet was a masterpiece

I think the siege of the north is the most underrated…the moon and ocean spirit being mortals of this world circling each other for eternity as yin and yang ☯️ the symbolism is insane and how aang even found that out through Ko the face stealer and the the shift to black and white when the moon spirit dies was such a shock the first time you see it.. then Yuey sacrificing herself for her people was just an absolute tear jerker… and at this point we know aang is powerful but when he enters the avatar state and joins with the ocean spirit you get a glimpse at just how immense that power truly is…when you first see this it was mind blowing!! 🤯

it's hard to compete with the last agni kai + aang vs fire lord + sokka, suki and toph vs army, all in the same combo
