RIP our beautiful boy. He had so much character, and so much love. He took on the roll of commander, and loved his companion until the end. He fought the best he could, but he was just too frail in the last hours.
We love this boy so so much, and our hearts are broken. After critical care feeds through a syringe, and medication, he wasn't improving. He began to stumble when walking, and saw the vet again yesterday morning. He was referred to an exotic vet locally, but again, too frail for anaesthetics to further investigate what was wrong. This morning, me and my eldest son, took him to the vet for his final sleep. We bith cuddled him before saying our goodbyes, and he past away peacefully, and not in pain and suffering.
Thank you to everyone who has messaged, commented, and sent well wishes, it means the world to me. He wasn't just a pet Guinea pig, he was our family. Sleep tight, Boss Pig 🕊
