First album I ever listened to back in 2012. She released this when she was 27 and somehow now I’ve made it to that age. It’s a full circle moment for me

Even though I prefer Froot music aesthetics I cannot deny Electra Heart supremacy for an era as a whole. That was another level

Been loving Marina a lot lately! This is definitely my favorite album of hers and I can’t wait for her new one! 💖

My ONE gripe about this album is that I wished How To Be A Heartbreaker ended with “at least you think I do!” to really drive home the fact she’s being fake. other than that, it’s an incredible pop bible. I remember watching primadonna on my ancient ass Toshiba laptop and discovering a whole new world.

This album is soooo good that I would call Marina a LITTLE BIT of a one-hit wonder. But mainly because Electra Heart is so ahead of the rest, not because the other albums are bad

Can’t wait!!! This album was the soundtrack of my college years and holds up still today. It seems Marina is trying to revisit the aesthetic and sound a bit in this latest album.

Will you be covering the platinum blonde edition as well?

Agree! This album was my 2012 favorite and I continually go back to it. Cuntissimo really reminded me of a return to EH, even Cupid’s Girl a bit.

13 years ago, we were introduced to Electra Heart. Marina made something so ahead of its time, people keep on discovering and loving the record as time passes. I wanted to make a quick commemorative post about this brilliant album as I wrap up my video essay for it. It will be out this coming week!
