ICE agents recently conducted a warrantless raid at a fish market in Newark, New Jersey. They detained eight people without showing proof of a warrant, including four women who were all mothers. They also detained a US military veteran and disputed his military documentation even after he showed it to them.
The Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution prevents ANYONE (yes, that includes people who are not documented) from illegal search and seizure. That makes this raid unconstitutional. Not only that, these people were not the "criminals" that the Trump administration keeps claiming them to be. They were hardworking people making a valuable contribution to this country.
