I can't wait to see your coverage for the match, Jerry! I've been watching your coverage of these since the Carlsen-Karjakin games in 2016!!

@thebickerer

While I think Carlsen definitely is favored, I'm just hoping for an interesting match. Both contestants are very skilled and usually play very fascinating games, so I'll just enjoy the event. Either way it goes, it'll be a win in my eyes. Nepo has obviously been hard at work to claim the title and Carlsen most definitely hasn't been sparing any effort in keeping it. I say good luck to both players!

I have been watching your coverage since the FIRST time Magnus was competing for the world championship. Glad you will be covering it again. I will be there. 😃

I want magnus to keep dominating the chess field, however I would really love Ian to crate rich and complicated positions.

Magnus Carlsen is a great WC, if Nepo wins i hope he does as much as Carlsen for the chess community

Hello Jerry I remember the time when I followed each and every game analysis of yours for the carlsen vs fabi matchup. After that I kind of went a bit astray from chess. But here I am again to enjoy your commentary on the new world Championship matches. Have fun!! Regards Tom

Nepiomnatchi has actually held ground I’m really impressed. I think magnus is worried.

I think alireza might have a chance maybe not the first time he challenges him, but in the coming years Magnus has to watch out! The other players, even nepo, are catching up and with enormous prep... This can be dangerous

@ritalate

I voted Magnus but I want to say it feels a lot closer this year. I think it will be a great series!

Magunus has a chance but Nepo is extremely tough, tactical and fast. Both of them are genius. Magnus takes risks, Nepo makes complicated. What I have been observing in past few years is Nepo blitzes out first 12-15 moves and uses that time advantage in the middle and endgame. On contrary, Magnus spends good time in the opening often playing risky lines to surprise the opponent. If Nepo can play engine moves precisely, depends on his preparation, for 5-10 moves and hold the advantage, then he has a good chance. Also, these players are so good, they can force draw with white pieces. So, Carlsen should try to beat Nepo when he is playing white and also should hold Nepo when playing black. For Nepo, he should use his time advantage and play middle and endgame precisely when playing with the white pieces. I would give 55-45 in Carlsen favor. Despite who wins, the thrilling matches are awaiting. All the best for both players.

Magnus is the big favorite, but it won't be easy. Nepo is a very skilled and dangerous oponent, and will probably drag him to deep waters.

Please, cover the match!

@Ratchet2022

This one will be relatively no contest. I’ll still watch out if curiosity, but it won’t be nail biting. Where’s Firouza?

@rishabhsemwal4180

There should be a option of draw as you are only talking about first match
