Mr President Donald Trump, I address you with all due respect, I do not want to offend you, but your words leave me astonished and surprised. How can a president of the most powerful country in the world have good relations with a criminal, who invaded Ukraine, unprovoked, whose troops murdered innocent people, raped children as young as one year old, even elderly people over 80 years old, tortured, kidnapped , destroyed cities, and many other unspeakable crimes. PEACE YES! But, forgive crimes and their criminals, NEVER! Russia must compensate Ukraine and Ukrainian families for all the harm caused. I understand that everyone who exonerates the Russian dictator and his associates is complicit in the crimes committed in Ukraine and around the world. Would you, my dear President, forgive Hitler? Stalin? Lenin? Idi Amim? or other murderous heads of state? Let this remain for reflection, on the world we want to have, whether governed by good or evil.

Let's conveniently forget the cold war, forget the lease and lend act that kept Soviet Union alive during wwii. Edit: and also the fact Hitler and Stalin teamed up to destroy Poland and kick off WWII

@rogergroover4633

You might as well also thank Hitler for violating the Molotov-Ribbentrop Non-Agression Pact. That is why Russia changed sides.

Large numbers of those people came from annexed countries by Soviets. Let's not forget that. Countries that after the war were thrown to Soviets like a strip of meat and went through absolute hell from Soviet atrocities. For eastern Europeans war wasn't won, there was no difference for their outcome between Nazis or Soviets. Americans never experienced what it was like when two major powers steam roll your country, and it's a constant warzone and frontline. Now that Russia is doing another expansion and opression, yes, let's just forgive them without any punishment so they can recuperate and do it all over again. That post is absolutely the dumbest thing i ever read, absolute zero understanding of manipulatuve, greed, power ridden, immoral, and psychotic behavior.

Putin is about Putin. History is his nemesis. And he's cornered himself in this situation.

Many other conditions should be imposed to the russians like: Retreat from Georgia ,Osetia; Retreat from Transnistria; return the Kaliningrad to Germany;kurile isles back to Japan; total reconstruction of Ucraine; pensions payed to the deceased or wounded ucrai neans citizens; refunding the budget spent by the West to suport Ucraine militarily &civilian help

Russia started on the Axis side. Do people not remember? It wasn't even the Russians who paid their lives in the war anyway! It was the Western Block countries that lost the most people, IE Poland, Czechaslovakia, Ukraine, etc. Russia barely lost any compared to them. Russia needs to be torn down, then rebuilt with an actual government and not the authoritarian state they are in now.

The Soviet Union mostly won through Lend-Lease by Western Allies and the sacrifice of the Soviet people. They didn’t have any choice though, as they would have been shot by their own barrier troops.

I staunchly support Ukraine and I think this idea is spot on correct. This war needs to end.

Trump needs to give Russia a withdrawal notice and if they fail to listen start forcefully removing them as a sign of force
