Technically my first anime was Dragonball but what really got me into anime is Fairy Tail

Naruto. I remember the first time I was Introduced to the world of manga and anime. I was maybe in 4th or 5th grade and I went to the library. There was many books, including a section for manga. I chose the Naruto one because why the hell not and I really got into the plot and stuff. I feel personally, if one would want to get into the world of anime, that would be a good starter. It’s well known, and it’s long. Plus there’s character development and (this is just me) you can cry In it. I really get attached to the characters so yuh. I really liked anime after that, I read so much manga, that all the ones in the library were read. Honestly, the world of anime is different- it’s fun, it’s a very nice community, and there’s so many actors, so many games, and really fun cos plays.

Death Note was my first and what made me fall in love with it. I loved Light’s secrecy between his normal life and his true crazy self. Forever will love the intro too.

Sword Art Online when I was 14 my dad got me into it. I'm 21 now and I watch it for the memories now. My favorite episode 'Mother's Rosaria'

The secret life of Arriety. I was like 8 at the time but I loved it so much and only came to know that it was actually an anime later on. I still love it and I would definitely watch it again for the 5th time and still really like the art style. Though I didn't like the ending as much since it left so many questions it will forever have a special place in my heart.

Technically, it was Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. But the first proper anime SERIES I watched was MHA. It was 2017 I believe and it was about 10 o'clock at night. I was hiding under my covers with my entirely-too-big headphones on my head, as I scrolled through youtube. I came across an edit of a few 'BakuDeku' moments in the show. I am ashamed to say because of that, for a long time I thought BakuDeku was endgame (😭🤚). But anyways, after watching it I became completely enamored with even the side characters in the small clips and hadn't watched even an anime film since I was REALLY young, so it was like stepping into a whole new world. Albeit a toxic and borderline unhealthy one, but I enjoyed it while the mist was over my eyes. In that one night to lunch time the next day, I binged ALL of the MHA episodes I could find. I still remember vividly the bad audio quality and tiny pop up screens I had to frantically swipe away; paranoid my mother would come in and see them on my screen (I wasn't old enough to know what exactly they were, but I was old enough to know the tone of the nice lady's voice wasn't amazing for my clear record thus far). Turning 15 this year (2023 - yes I'm an 08 baby), and kinda miss the insane love I had for that show. It's still there, but mute

Honestly, MHA really got me into anime. I love it so freaking much. It’s an amazing and awesome show. I was watching basically all the episodes in these couple of days (until I found when I was watching season 3 that after season 2 I had to watch heroes rising so I immediately started watching and got over the middle of the movie lol. That shows you how much I love the show and the movies)

I'm pretty sure the anime that I watched first was fairy tail, my dad and my brother had introduced me to it. I really loved it at the time, not much now but it still holds a special place in my heart.

First ever serious anime I've watched was actually Akame Ga Kill courtesy of my sister who loves those kinds of animes. Honestly, I was traumatized but I loved it 😂
