“Fleeting Shadows” is so good. You did such a good job it actually not only drove me to tears having the context of NieR, but also me just liking really good music overall. Absolute banger this remix is.

I'm so very glad you were willing to make this and share it with the world. I absolutely love remixes and mashups (okay so they're the same type of thing so sue me) and this one gives me chills and intense feels every time I listen to it. I spent a lot of last night with it on loop just for the mood. Thanks again, you did good work.

Fleeting Shadows is SO GOOD!!!! It's seriously hard to hear the originals seperately because they blend together soo good!

Congrats!! It's honestly a very good one, the best remix I've heard and it's had a permanent place in my NieR playlists, an official part of the soundtrack in my eyes

fleeting shadows is great but i love the editing work you did on the song of the ancients video, it was such a cool way to present ideas and analysis of a piece while listening to it and i’ve never quite seen anything like it ever since

Still impressed you actually did it! I come back to it from time to time.

How did you actually separate the song, instruments and such? Especially in Shadowlord.

A year ago today I published my most successful video to date - and it wasn't a video essay! "Fleeting Shadows" has just as many listeners today as when it first came out. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your playlist. This is a picture of the project file. You can follow along as you listen using the timeline along the bottom. This shows which parts of the two tracks are used, and when. (The colors have nothing to do with the ones in the video.) I had fewer options with "Fleeting Words" because I only had the two layers listed. Shadowlord [1] is... hmm. How do I explain this without spoilers? Shadowlord [1] is before the cutscene where someone looks out a window, and Shadowlord [2] is after that.
