You're a breath of fresh air. You give people hope in their own journey/treatment and make us smile in the process. You're a gem, Abi.

And so, I close the chapter on a year of cancer treatment. š„³š§
Two brain surgeries, six weeks of daily radiotherapy, and eight months of chemotherapy later; I can finally say Iām finished (for now).
Thank you to all my family and friends, and to youāmy online communityāfor your constant support and for cheering me on every step of the way. I honestly couldnāt have done it without you.
Huge thanks to the NHS for keeping me alive, to Professor Nandi for removing most of the brain tumour, and to Dr. Butterfingers for dropping a piece of my skull on the operating room floor. I'll never forget you.
And, of course, to Stefāfor being my partner through all of this, and for carrying me through when I couldnāt make it on my own. I love you very much.
If youāre just starting your own long road, i want you to know this: itās not easy, and it wonāt always feel like progress. But little by little, you move forward. Then one day, you look around and notice youāre somewhere completely different from where you began.
You donāt have to be brave all the time. Just keep showing up.
