My son LOVES pad see ew. Since I did not have the fat rice noodles, I made them from scratch using your recipe for them. The Pad See Eew was Sooooo good! My son said it tasted authentic (which translates to restaurant quality since he does not know what authentic is 😆). Thanks for making me a super mom - at least for a day!!!

I remember your older video on how to make fresh wide rice noodles; and really appreciate that. My next mission on how to make authentic Thai food.

To me, Som Tum and Thai Egg Fried Rice are the perfect pairing. I always have these 2 dishes at Mai Thai restaurant, located in Fountain Valley, CA. I will try your pairing recommendation

There aren't any crabs or fermented fish in the som tam, shouldn't it be called a tam thai?

Pailin's Kitchen
PSA: Pad See Ew and Som Tum are the perfect pairing. The salad’s bright flavours work wonderfully to balance the salty-sweet richness of pad see ew.
Also if you have the last of ripe sweet summer tomatoes to use up, papaya salad is the way to go. These meaty, sweet heirloom tomatoes from my friend’s garden are incredible in som tum!!
