When I first started AppSumo, my goal was to make $3,000/mo so I could work on the beaches of Thailand. Last year, I took home $3.3M in income. I collected the top 25 books that have helped me the most: noahkagan.com/top-25-books

This is pretty much the same point my dad always made when talking to me about blogs I've started before. He's made a bunch of money monetising his ones but I gave up too early on all of mine.

Kudos to every written and producer who actually made every Bieber song.

Justin Bieber is actually different from other singers. Almost every song he has made has blown up. 30% of his songs that you listed as successful are mega successful. The other 70% are also pretty popular.

This doesn’t account for a the songs that don’t get released. When you factor that it is more like 98%

Justin Bieber: 285 songs, 85 hits (30%)
Taylor Swift: 243 songs, 59 hits (24%)
Drake: 133 songs, 38 hits (28%)
73% of their output is NOT popular.
Meanwhile, you write 1 article and give up immediately…
