Ravens and crows. They look very cool and they're very intelligent. Great eared nightjar. What even IS that thing? Looks like a Pokémon! Horned shoebill. Dinosaur. The sound it's beak makes when it closes it's mouth is a threat!

Any of the corvids. Crows are more funny, ravens are serious and magpies are shit disturbers.

With two Bird Baths and currently living in Louisiana I have a variety in my backyard all year long and it's hard to just pick one. I love seeing all of them come through and play

Chickadees, their calls are incredibly complex, almost like their own language. They also cache food, and have been seen to specifically hide their Cache from other birds known to steal food. They are also just soooooooo cute!!

Hard to choose, but all owls and doves. And Killdeers, so amazing how they protect their young by acting injured. Oh, and…😁

I really like the colors on a peacock, but my favorite bird is an emu. I like laying one's head on my shoulder and hugging it. Plus they are kind of like dinosaurs when you step back and watch them.

African Grey. They are amazing birds. So beautiful, smart and loving (when they want to be! 😆) We have had Grey 3 rescues and they are the best bird we've had

Cape Barren Goose. A bird that has evolved to be able to drink sea water. I don't know why that blows my mind so hard, but it's the coolest

#1 is the cardinal. They are said to be messengers of passed loved ones come to visit us. So seeing one peeking in through a window always puts a grin on your face. #2 is the hummingbird. They are just amazing. I love them but I feel slightly sorry for them due to how difficult their lives are, somewhat how I feel about butterflies. Mockingbirds and quails are tied for 3. Quails because their little coos just make me smile. Mockingbirds because they're so intelligent and amazing for memorizing so many sounds. I think they're almost as smart as crows are. Also I like crows but they're a little TOO intelligent. Some things I have heard about them are spooky. So they'd be a close 4th.
