If you were "King for the Day" what tests or methods would you use to accurately determine the actual hearing loss of Veterans and to determine their just compensation for that injury and why?

Here’s to a great first show. Thank you for sharing so much valuable information over the years. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on HA processing delay and open-style domes. Why don’t other manufacturers move closer to a shorter delay? I chose Widex because of their PureSound tech. The occlusion effect drove me nuts with other brands. I work with music and voice in a studio. I’d love to hear what artifacts and suggestions I could communicate to my audiologist for better fine tuning. There seems to be a gap between how studio engineers and audiologist’s describe audio processing. Thanks!

I am an amateur musician. I love my four year old Oticon hearing aids and in my everyday life they make all the difference with my moderate hearing loss. I’m very happy with them. But for playing music ( the recorder in my case) I find them frustrating especially when playing with other people. The music setting doesn’t help much. It’s difficult to judge my intonation and blend with others. But without the hearing aids I don’t get enough information. Is there anything specifically addressing this and especially in the newest Oticon platform that might be worth looking into?

Many people's and even some ent doctors think that using hearing aid causes more hearing loss... Someone that having mild hearing loss...after using hearing aid for some time then his/her hearing loss will increase from mild to moderate..is this true. Thank you
