Sometimes I reminisce about how everything came to be..
Like, I started this channel -my first channel, and social media account- as a little experiment, to see if posting on youtube would be cool; You guys can NOT understand how happy I was when a whopping 18 people saw my first dumb animation short after one day!! Like, I was ecstatic and that dopamine fueled me to keep posting more, into what turned into a hobby. Random art things, I don't know. I was just experimenting. But every little milestone gave me unbelievable joy- I don't remember what my first comment was, but I was insanely happy and at that time I wished I could heart them a 100 times. When I hit 100 subscribers, I felt like I was on the top of the world
Looking back at my old videos/shorts is truly nostalgic, because I was a dumb little idiot, posting such mildly cringe yet proud content. Since then, I've grown- almost bittersweetly, in a way I would've never expected. I'm talking about my "alt" account, since then switched to main account that garnered a LOT of popularity (over 10x in both views and subscribers compared to this account lmao) My interests shifted and suddenly, I had a place to belong, I had people looking at my art, looking up to me, and fans!
In hindsight, I still feel a bit guilty neglecting this account for the one with more clout, I knew how much I disappointed some people even if you guys were still here for me.. It's been a tough ride. I've been juggling a lot lately. Needless to say, the clout and attention did revolutionize my art. I improved myself and my art more and more because of you guys- hell, I didn't even have a consistent art style before! That break out of the comfort zone was what really changed it for the better.
Once again, just- thank you for being here, thank you for everything, your comments I always read and your endless support. Thank you for reading this through, even if it's a little choppy..
