Voxcast To Nowhere

"With steel we are stronger, but without a soul we are nothing."

Can we finally admit that the Iron Hands are underrated, underrepresented, and deserve more stories about them? Like, what's not love about these literal giga-chads?

*Also, if you play tabletop, you should check out Hyperspace Hobbies' new video on Iron Hands. But it's also not Iron Hands, according to James Workshop, but is definitely Iron Hands

**Also also, I'm workin on a topical Primarch discordia video (If you're into basketball, on a casual level, at least)

Have a great weekend, habibi

@silentjustin

Nice to see other people who actually appreciate the Iron Hands. I really hope we get some new lore sometime soon.

@CousinJesse1

I’ve said that this whole time. We do need more Iron Hands books/lore developing. They are placed in an interesting position lore-wise because they were the first to lose their primarch as a casualty of war and their strong ties to the Mechanicus as well as the philosophies of Manus later in his life can provide for a LOT of different directions for them to go. We just need writers brave and creative enough to make it happen. Iron Hands = the Emperors Woodchipper.

Most technologically advanced armory, largest motor pool, more terminator armor than anyone (so much so that nearly every non-scout Iron Hands Sergeant is equipped with it), more dreadnoughts, their techmarines and chaplains are one in the same, they stomp meatbags and doesn’t afraid of anything. It took the combined strength of 7 traitor legions to bring about half of their number down on Istvaan V along with the Salamanders and Raven Guard stragglers and Horus was scared shitless of them when he realized that neither Ferrus, nor his legion, would ever even entertain the possibility of turning traitor. Also attempted multiple assassinations on multiple traitor primarchs, Horus himself included, which had the traitors nervously looking over their shoulders on their entire March to terra. Iron Hands are easily the most slept-on legion.

I find them fascinating, I’ve just yet to find a book of theirs interesting. Granted I mainly read the Horus heresy novels.

Aren’t Space Marines supposed to already be the creation of perfection? Why would they cut off perfectly limbs and replace them with backwards machines that can fail?

@bubla2659

I’ve always loved them but people keep calling them boring, no shit they’re boring they don’t have any lore!
