Advice for owning the single season? I’d like to get married in the future and am currently building a tech start-up with a friend while also writing some poetry books and building a newsletter. Your story of how you found your wife is way inspiring to me and I think a similar thing may happen for me (we’ll just have to see). Even still I think I am at least 2 years away from that. There’s still a lot of work I need to do. At times it feels lonely but I’m not going to settle for anything less than a committed partner. Of course it’s best to start as friends and then let it move naturally from there and I genuinely don’t feel I’m ready for a full commitment. So basically I am working to improve myself and get more financial means and structural stability in my routines and such, but at times it gets lonely. I go to church events and things of that nature and have friends but I have boundaries so I keep my golden hours to myself. I know this is all only temporary so I’m working to be able to up my skills so I can better provide in the future… but yeah sometimes it gets lonely 😅

I run a science focused channel and suffer from what’s called channel bifurcation - the algorithm gets confused by AVD ranging from 5-30m! Audiences vary wildly for each and it’s hard to compute a core, causal avatar. I want to understand better how to grow both sides of the audience, but I don’t wanna start a second channel for repurposing either longform versus short form content. What ratio of content - podcasts vs 10-20m explainers should I aim for? Also, I don’t have products or courses to sell. But I do have books. And I want to grow the channel into a sense of community. How to structure CTAs and selling off platform beside my newsletter? Thanks and Can’t wait to see your new studio!

How is it that I can go from 15-20k in views one week to maybe 10 views the next??

It feels like Patreon is making a big comeback, I see it popping everywhere. Have you noticed it too? What do you think about it? Have you any thoughts about it?

What happens to my channel if I die? Will it eventually lose monetization after a certain period with no new uploads? My content is evergreen and if anything ever happens to me, I’d like for my loved ones to continue collecting Adsense. How can I ensure this happens?

While I finish building out the new studio, I’m going to record an audience Q&A episode for the audio show.
