23 years ago today (September 11, 2001), the United States experienced the most horrific and deadliest terrorist attack in history. 19 Terrorists hijacked four American Airlines and United Airlines flights. Two of them crashed into the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City, which resulted in the two 110-story towers to collapse. Another plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C, and another plane crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers tried to fight against the hijackers. Almost 3,000 people died in the attacks, but one good thing about that day was that Americans and people in other countries came together to help and save one another. We will never forget that tragic day nor the people who lost their lives. Rest in Peace and lest we forget! 🙏
