Wow, I think I just learned to instantly sleep. The night before last night, I relaxed every micro muscle I could and my eyes were naturally inclined to physically roll back into unconsciousness. Last night I tested it again. Even tho I wasn’t so tired, I relaxed every micro muscle and I really didn’t expect it to work but after a few tries, I woke up at 4:30am (didn’t waste time going to sleep). It’s like pressing a button that doesn’t automatically activate but when it does, you won’t even know it. I still stayed in bed for a few hours cuz I knew I couldn’t function with 5 hours of sleep. Next, imma do that but only stay longer in bed for 1 hour.

update 2: after a few days, its pretty easy now. I inhale and contract a body part (lower legs), maybe hold my breath to contract the muscles even more, then I exhale, release the muscles and let myself sink into my bed. I repeat this for every body part (upper legs, abs, chest, upper arms, lower arms, neck, mouth, and eyes (sometimes twice cuz that's the most important). then I repeat "don't think" for some time and its just a matter of time before I wake up at 4-5am (I'd usually not be fully awake at 7:30am). I knew I had 'mastered' this (it's pretty easy lol) when yesterday I went to bed hungry (that's like cancer to my sleep) and I still woke up at 5am. its gonna take some messing around to learn to utilize this but it's gonna be very helpful.

update: I couldn't do it last night but I kept trying for hours (until I slept regularly). my alarm woke me up, I went back to sleep cuz I didn't sleep enough, then I watched some videos, tried again and I actually slept for another hour! Next: imma only do it for an hour. If I don't succeed, I sleep regularly.
